Valentines Day Beach Shoot 2014

Happy Valentines Day!

Here is a photo shoot I did a few weeks ago and can now show you all the pictures from the most stunning night we had shooting on the beach.

Inspired by Valentines Day summer nights and the beach I put together this shoot in a couple of weeks after hesitating as I wanted it to be worthy of a feature on a beautiful wedding blog.

I was lucky enough to get the 'Yes! We would love to feature this sweet shoot' from Nouba Weddings Blog and to feature it with enough time for everyone to swoon over it...and hopefully inspire some romance today.

I can't tell you how much I loved the whole planning of this shoot. I hadn't organised a photo shoot of my own and involved others for a while, and I felt right at home! I was buzzing with excitement that I had on board with me some amazing talent.

My photographer was the lovely Kristie from KL Photography who followed my direction with ease and helped keep me moving (we only had a very small window to shoot before the sun went down!)

The absolutely stunning florals are from Lucie from Lulu Bird. She created exactly what I was asking for and saw my vision right from the start.

It was great catching up with an old friend and workmate who also collaborated on this shoot.
She was always so good with calligraphy, she used to paint the sale signs at work, they were made the good old fashioned way. She told me she missed being creative and this is something she would love to get back into so she has hand drawn these sweet little love ribbons that decorated the table. Thanks Rosie!!

These mini naked cakes which were the cutest things I have ever seen, adorned the dessert table for two! My beautiful friend and amazing baker Caz from Nectar and Stone created these beauties just for this shoot.
Caz and her gorgeous hubby volunteered to be models for the night also...they looked perfect together, don't you think!?

Nectar and Stone also made these very cute mini meringues, with rose petals.

We got this last shot as we were packing up...it lasted no more than 2 minutes and was just amazing...the colours were so vibrant!
